Non-Objective Painting

For this painting, I was supposed to paint something that didn't a subject. So basically it was random stuff. I put a bunch of random colors for the first coat, put tape on top of that for a design for the second coat, painted over all of that with black, then to top it off, I put colorful hand prints all over. After all that, I ripped the tape off. I think that I could have layered the hand prints better in the painting.

Surrealism "It All Ends In Destruction"

This is the painting I did using surrealism. I don't really know how I came up with the idea, I just drew it up. I think I did pretty good as far as the idea goes, but I wish I could have had more time and wasn't rushed. The paint in some places wasn't as thick as the rest, so it didn't look good, and I didn't have time to mix for the colors I wanted. Overall, I think the painting was overall alright. I think if I had more time, then it would have looked way better.

Pointilism Frog

I painted a frog in pointilism. I did the painting dot by dot. One thing I would have changed is the brushes I used. I felt that I did really good sketching out the frog before I painted it. I feel like the colors I chose were a strength in the painting. I learned a whole new way to paint.
